Neue Webseite zum Buch
Pünktlich zur 2. Auflage hat die Webseite zum Buch “Gentoo Linux: Die Metadistribution” ein kleines “Facelift” erhalten. Aus einer vor einem Jahr handgestrickten Ansammlung unschöner, statischer HTML-Seiten wurde eine kleine Anwendung, umgesetzt mit dem ZendFramework und der Template-Engine Smarty. Errata und Downloads kommen in den nächsten Tagen …

When checking out the new site, I noticed that the two links ‘weiter lesen’ on http://www.die-gentoo-metadistribution.de/news
do not function properly.
Finally: you mention that a new chapter has been added to the book. Would it be possible to make that chapter available to people who bought the first print of the book (like me).

“not function properly” means exactly what? I can’t reproduce the errors you get.
Wrt publishing the new chapter online I’m not sure if that will happen soonish, but I’ll keep that suggestion in mind. Maybe I’ll start a series of blog-posts describing the basic process of using catalyst for creating a Gentoo-based LiveCD.
